I'm not sure what these flowers are, they grow wild in the bayou. While shooting the scarf in the previous post, I decided to take some artsy-fartsy photos. I had tons of fun!!!
It's all about composition! I like the photo above, I'm pretty sure that
I'm going to get it matted and framed and put it in my bedroom above my dresser.
I love all three of these! I know they look practically the same,
but they're kind of different!

Hehehe I love that you have natural light in these photos, and that you get to change the focus!! I have tried to figure out how to do that on my camera... but I think I need to look it up so I can use the manual function.

P.S. My favorite is the last one, because of the light in the background as well as the focus... but I really like the composition of them all too.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have some real fresh cut flowers... but I can't find them anywheres in this ugly city.
I think you need an actual lens in order to do manual focus, I don't think you can do it on the little digital cameras. I could be wrong though!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I show these pictures to Barry and Mark but they don't usually gush like you do lol. They're like "Yeah, that's pretty cool" when I really want they to say "Great composition! I love how it's offset and I love how you played the etc etc etc " :)
I know it's not the same but Target usually has some pretty good bouquets for not a lot of money. I usually get their daisies (cause I can't figure out how to grow them) and they're usually like six bucks.
Aw I love gushing!! hehehe. No I think I do have a manual feature that does allow me to adjust aputure and shutter speed at least. It might work in a digital sense though... but I am pretty sure I read that it had that feature.
ReplyDeletePhotos come out so much better with natural light and actually using the old school method I think lol. But yes, I love when you take photos and I get to see them and critique with excitement lol.
Ok I hate daisies, but maybe they have other inexpensive flower bouquets... That would be so pretty I think. Now I just need to pick up a few vases hehe.
